Mini Mod: Bridging the Gap Between FOR TINY Tech

The story of Mini Mod didn't begin in a boardroom; it started in the digital workshops of Instagram.

David from David Miniatures and Andy from Doggie Doc Designs were already established figures in the miniature community, each known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail. What began as mutual admiration for each other's work evolved into a genuine friendship and, eventually, a creative partnership. Their first major collaboration, a meticulously detailed tribute to the Friends TV show set the stage for something much bigger.

SHARING IS CARING

During hours of "shop talk" regarding the technical hurdles of miniature building, David and Andy realized they shared a rare piece of knowledge. Both had independently cracked the code on creating functional, high-quality miniature TVs that were actually user-friendly. Everything that was already on the market was mass produces, clunky, not to scale and just did not work well, they had to find a bette way.

In a world where specialized techniques are often kept as trade secrets, they reached a different conclusion: the technology was too much fun to keep to themselves. They decided to not keep the "magic" to themselves and started a mission to empower the entire maker community.

Making Electronics Accessible

With that mission in mind, Mini Mod was born. The brand debuted with the MM Panel Mini and the MM Panel Plus, two powerful, raw electronic components designed to let makers integrate video into their own custom builds with ease.

However, the duo soon realized that while the spark of creativity is universal, not everyone has the tools, time, or technical background to work with raw electronics. They saw a need for a "bridge" between complex tech and the art of miniatures.

A New Era of Mini TVs

The real turning point for Mini Mod came when David and Andy decided to do the heavy lifting themselves. They began designing and hand-crafting ready-made miniature televisions, combining their electronics expertise with their passion for era-accurate design.

By offering fully finished, functional TVs from various decades and in multiple scales, they opened up a world of possibilities for hobbyists of all skill levels. Today, Mini Mod Products stands as a testament to what happens when two makers prioritize community over competition, turning "top secret" tech into a tool for everyone. They plan on growing the brand selection over time…Stay Tuned!
